One initiative we have been running for the last 18 months is Sisters who SHINE, which is a free holiday program for young girls in the region. Its aim is to empower young girls and show local representation of women in business, science, agriculture, technology and art.
There is a mass exodus Young people in rural and regional communities into cities. We aim to build a sense of community pride in the local youth and show them that there are amazing educational and career opportunities, as well as phenomenal points of interest, in their local area.
