Topic: nbn Business Fibre Initiative - Improving access to business grade fibre connections
Topic Description
Extraordinary change continues to take place. As businesses come to terms with the “new normal” they’re looking at how to leverage the productivity and collaboration benefits of technology including Cloud-based applications and Software-As-A-Service (SAAS).
The network is a critical enabler of all the magic these applications and services offer.
Without the right network access, a business will not get to experience and realise all of the benefits. That’s why we launched nbn™ Business Fibre Initiative: to make business nbn™ Enterprise Ethernet, and the enhanced connectivity it provides, more accessible to more Australian businesses.
nbn™ Enterprise Ethernet is nbn’s business-grade offering, providing flexibility, network reliability and enhanced service levels to service providers to help them meet the needs of businesses of all sizes for today and into the future.

Vikram Singh - Head of Hydrogen Development, Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG)
Topic description: Hydrogen Park Murray Valley
Topic Description
Hydrogen Park Murray Valley (HyP MV) is a larger renewable hydrogen project. Located in Wodonga, adjacent to the Wodonga Waste Water treatment plant, HyP MV comprises a 10 MW electrolyser that will produce renewable hydrogen. Renewable hydrogen will be blended into the Albury and Wodonga gas distribution network (at a blend ratio of up to 10% renewable hydrogen by volume).
AGIG is a large gas infrastructure busines that owns several gas distribution networks on the east coast of Australia, including the Victorian gas networks and the Albury and Wodonga network.
Key Takeaways
By blending up to 10% renewable hydrogen, the key objective of HyP MV is to start the decarbonisation of Australia’s gas distribution networks.
This is consistent with AGIG’s vision of blending up to 10% renewable gases (hydrogen and biomethane) into its gas distribution networks by 2030. AGIG’s target is to transform its gas distribution networks to 100% renewable gas networks, no later than 2050 (2040 as a stretch target).
In addition, HyP MV is strategically located in Wodonga to support Hydrogen mobility for heavy transport, mainly buses and trucks.
